Alopecia Barbie shaves valuable seconds off your day!
November 16th, 2005
As my alopecia has progressed I’ve started to lose hair all over my body and if I’m honest I’m not really that bothered. In fact its brought some unexpected advantages!
I’ve been steadily losing hair around the beard area (this condition is more commonly known as alopecia barbie) and I now have patches of hair loss between 2-3 centimeters in diameter over my face. Now any guy that shaves regularly will know what a hassle it is shaving every day, sure its a novelty when your a teenager and you have finally made it out of bum fluff territory and have some real man stubble but after a while its a complete drag. Especially when your like me and you have particularly thick dark whiskers so you have what looks like a 5 o’clock shadow throughout the day.
These days shaving is a breeze, my whiskers aren’t so thick, a lot of my face is as smooth as you like and shaving takes less and less time. So personally I’m looking forward to losing the lot. No more shaving. Hurrah!
