Thought I would let you all know about some TV coverage on Alopecia Areata by NBC television.
It will feature Jeff Woytovich and his daughter Madison who has Alopecia Areata. They be talking about the Children’s Alopecia Project, Alopecia Areata and about being honored by the Philadelphia Flyers.
Don’t forget to watch NBC-10 tomorrow, February 7th at 10AM for the “10! Show Live”.

Although I missed this particular episode of the Tyra Banks show ( love to see this if anyone recorded it by the way!) I felt it was worth mentioning as it had a particularly good section on women’s wigs which is also featured on the Tyra Banks show website
It features Amy Gibson a former daytime television star who appeared in “The Young and the Restless” and “General Hospital”. Amy Gibson is a spokesperson on behalf of women dealing with hair loss, having lost her own hair 25 years ago from Alopecia Areata. Amy recently started the “Amy’s Presence” wig line, combining Amy’s personal wishes and desires to make the perfect wig for balding women!
To be honest I don’t know a lot about wig technology but they look very realistic. A realistic solution for women with hair loss? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this so do leave comments.
